The Playground
The Playground is born as a platform to channel authors’ interest in style, food, travel–anything Japan related through the lens of an ordinary resident. It is mainly a collection of our weekend getaways, museum visits, and favorite things in the neighborhood; personally curated to bring out more of a homelike side of Japan.

The Authors
Born and raised in Indonesia, Soylatte first came to Japan as a college student when she was eighteen. Besides writing as an English and Indonesian contributor for The Playground, she is also active providing consultation service for international communities, scheduling next trip’s itineraries, and building her new nest in Yokohama.
日本生まれ日本育ち。大学院卒業後、社会人として働きながら日本語の記事を書いてます。奥さんはインドネシア人ですが、インドネシア語は分かりません…。好きなものは深海魚・水族館・旅行・食べることです。
